💬 6–7pm: Fawcett Annual General Meeting (AGM)

This is your chance to hear what we've achieved over the past year - the wins, the hard-fought campaigns, and the work still to come.

We’ll be joined by Fawcett CEO Penny East and Baroness Harriet Harman for an insightful review of the year and a look at what’s next for the movement, join us and help shape the future of Fawcett.

🎤 7–8pm: Fawcett Talks with Anki Deo

Stick around for a powerful conversation with Anki Deo from HOPE not Hate, the UK’s largest anti-fascism organisation. The discussion will be chaired by Alison Paton, Fawcett’s Policy and Research Officer.

Together, they’ll explore how anti-immigration rhetoric and growing misogyny are shaping our politics, and how feminist activism can challenge hate, build resilience, and create a more inclusive democracy for all.

 About the Speaker:

Anki Deo leads on insights within the policy team at HOPE not Hate, where she focuses on young people, migration, democracy and politics through public attitudes research, outreach and policy development. Her recent reports include Fear and HOPE 2024: The Case for Community Resilience and Plugged In but Disconnected: Young People and Hateful Attitudes. Anki’s current work examines supporters of Reform UK and the narratives driving division.

Before joining HOPE not Hate, she taught French, Spanish and PSHE at a secondary school in London. She holds a degree in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge and is passionate about tackling hate and inequality, particularly where gender and race intersect.

We’ll wrap up with a lively Q&A, your chance to ask questions, share thoughts, and connect with other members pushing for change.
