Our Values Fawcett: Our Values Inclusive We are for women, and for everyone who wants to end sexism and misogyny. We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences. We recognise that inequality is not felt in the same way by all women, and our work reflects the realities of those who face the sharpest harms, including Black and minoritised women and disabled women. Feminist We are fierce, fearless and feminist. We name misogyny as the root cause of inequality and challenge the cultural, political and economic systems that restrict women’s power. Our work spans workplaces, public services and technology because sexism shapes women’s lives across society. Anti-racist We fight against all forms of racism. We hold ourselves accountable and we acknowledge that we are always learning. We commit to becoming actively anti-racist in our work and our culture. We recognise that racism and misogyny combine to intensify inequality for Black and minoritised women. Evidence-based Women and girls’ experiences shape everything we do. Our research is practical and rigorous. It underpins our campaigns, advocacy and public messaging. We focus on what works, evaluate what does not and use evidence to drive real-world change. Joyful We celebrate women’s bravery and strength. Even as we confront rising misogyny and widening inequality, we make space for recognition, solidarity and progress. Joy strengthens our movement and sustains collective action. Collaborative We work collectively and we value shared leadership. Our members play a central role in shaping decisions, campaigns and priorities, and they hold us to account. We collaborate with Local Groups, partner organisations and allies across and beyond the women’s sector. We share our platform, amplify others and encourage men to play their part in ending sexism. Impactful Impact matters to us. We use our influence to demand change at every level, from policy to public attitudes. We expect to see results and we concentrate our energy where we can make the strongest difference for women and girls. Want to know more? Download our latest strategy Manage Cookie Preferences
