What Affiliates Receive

All Affiliates receive:

• A year-marked Affiliate badge for digital or printed use

• Listing on our website with your logo and link

• A digital certificate of affiliation

• Quarterly updates on our latest campaigns and ways to amplify the message

Affiliated organisations are members of the Fawcett Society under our Articles of Association. Each affiliate organisation is entitled to one vote at the AGM, exercised by a nominated representative or, if they are unable to attend, by a proxy they appoint.

Optional extras include:

• Spotlight opportunities on Fawcett channels

• Invitations to selected events or briefings

• Access to co-branded campaign tools

Who Can Join?

We welcome a broad range of mission-aligned organisations, including:

• Advocacy or academic centres

• Professional associations, unions, and sector bodies with a not-for-profit or public interest mission

• Trade unions and Nonprofits

• Grassroots and community groups

Affiliation is a values-based commitment.
It’s for organisations who want to stand publicly with Fawcett, amplify our campaigns, and be recognised for their role in the wider movement for gender equality.

What It Costs

We use a flexible, fair fee model that combines your organisation’s size and sector type.
Your final annual fee is calculated by applying a sector multiplier to a base rate set by size. This helps us keep affiliation accessible while recognising different capacities to contribute.
Use the two tables below to work out the fee for your organisation.

Step 1: Base Fee by Size

Solidarity Affiliate	Unfunded or volunteer-led groups	£10+
Small	Under 10 staff or <5,000 members	£150
Medium	10–100 staff or 5,000–50,000 members	£250
Large	Over 100 staff or 50,000+ members	£500
Very Large	500+ staff or 100,000+ members	£750

Step 2: Apply the Sector Multiplier

Registered Charities / CICs	×0.6
Trade Unions	×1.0
Public Sector Bodies	×1.0

Example:
A small charity with 8 staff = £150 × 0.6 = £90
A Local Authority over 500 staff = £750 × 1 = £750

Solidarity Affiliates

We offer a low-cost £10–£25 option for grassroots groups and volunteer-led initiatives.

Membership (and voting rights) are dependent on fees being up to date.
